These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Eljay’s Delivery platform ("Eljay's", "we", "our", or "us"), available via our website, mobile app, or related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eljay’s Delivery is a community-based platform that connects hungry individuals ("Users" or "Customers") with independent home cooks ("Vendors" or "Cooks") who prepare and sell meals.
We do not prepare, cook, store, deliver, or inspect food. We simply provide the technology to facilitate the connection.

2. Platform Disclaimer
Eljay’s Delivery does not operate as a food business, caterer, or delivery provider. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, taste, preparation, or safety of food.
- Any illness, allergic reactions, or dissatisfaction resulting from meals.
- The legal compliance of Vendors with food safety regulations.
By using the Platform, you agree that any dispute or issue regarding food must be resolved directly between the Customer and the Vendor.

3. User Responsibilities
To use Eljay’s Delivery, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have legal parental consent.
- Provide accurate information during registration.
- Use the Platform for lawful purposes only.
Users are expected to be respectful and honest when interacting with Vendors.

4. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors (Cooks) using Eljay’s Delivery agree to:
- Follow all applicable health, safety, and food laws in their location.
- Clearly list ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods when asked.
- Handle and deliver food in a safe, clean, and compliant manner.
- Be solely responsible for any claims, damages, or disputes related to their meals.
Eljay’s Delivery does not certify, inspect, or guarantee any Vendor.

5. Orders and Payments
- Orders are placed through the Platform and payment may be collected on behalf of the Vendor.
- Eljay’s Delivery may charge a small fee for platform use.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are generally the responsibility of the Vendor.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Eljay’s Delivery is not liable for any injury, illness, damages, or losses caused by food purchased through the Platform.
- We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available or error-free.
You use the Platform at your own risk.

7. Dispute Resolution
If you have an issue with an order, you agree to first contact the Vendor directly. Eljay’s Delivery may offer support in resolving disputes but is not responsible for the outcome.
